What is Buildozer and how could it be used at the construction site?

Our team is currently developing and getting ready to launch a new product — platform for construction digitalization and automatization called Buildozer. Our target is to make the construction process easier, faster, more fair and transparent. And in order to achieve this we are going to combine and integrate numerous activities and steps of the construction into one place. This target is quite complicated even for big mature IT-companies, while for a startup team with no experience development it’s almost like freshers are assigned for spaceship construction (ok, exaggerated a bit, but anyway it would be like assignment to build a military motor boat).

To sum up, what do we want?

• To digitize and automate activities at the construction site. This will help builders to allocate resources more accurately, to see what else is required to be done and will enable Customers to track the construction progress.
• To simplify the construction process. To make it clear and understandable for all the participants: from the very beginning when the documents handed over up to completed facility acceptance.
• To increase transparency and quality of the construction in our country. This will be possible though displaying of the construction process on the integrated interface with no allowance to hide something.
• To introduce a tool for collaboration between commercial companies and state agencies within the construction industry in order to make the process of getting the permits and plans approved faster and easier.
• And strangely enough, we want to make a profit. At least, at a later stage of our startup development upon subscription system implementation.

Developers team now consists of 5 people including me. We all have no experience in programming and have just started our professional path in the IT area. Also, at the blog launching stage 2 more guys joined our team. They are a marketer, who is connecting our project with the outside world through the blog and a translator — our helper to talk to a wide foreign audience.

Buildozer is a very ambitious and indeed complicated product. It’s really worth contributing our knowledge and energy into its implementation. We have already formulated the project development strategy.
